How to Use SmartWhip

Follow these 4 simple steps to set up and use your SmartWhip cylinder with a pressure regulator.

01

Connect Regulator

Screw the pressure regulator onto the SmartWhip cylinder valve securely. Ensure it is tight but do not over-tighten.

02

Attach Hose

Connect one end of the filling hose to the regulator and the other end to your cream dispenser's filling valve.

03

Set Pressure

Open the cylinder valve and adjust the regulator to your desired pressure (usually 10-15 bar for standard whipped cream).

04

Charge & Shake

Allow the N2O to flow until the dispenser is pressurized. Disconnect, shake the dispenser well, and you're ready to serve!

Expert Culinary Tips

  • Chill Everything: For the best results, ensure both your cream and the dispenser are thoroughly chilled before charging.
  • Don't Overfill: Only fill the dispenser to the maximum fill line (usually 0.5L or 1L) to allow space for the gas to expand.
  • The Perfect Shake: Shake the dispenser 3-6 times after charging. Shaking too much can make the cream too stiff to spray.
  • Infusions: Use SmartWhip for rapid flavor infusions in cocktails, oils, and vinegars. It cuts infusion time from weeks to minutes!
